One of my favorite areas in St. Louis is St. Charles Main Street. It's full of unique shops, local bars and coffee shops, and lots of charm. In the summer, it's one of my favorite places to spend time drinking on a patio, shopping, and walking with Isabelle. Now that I have moved, it's been a while since I've made it there. So what better day to spend some time with my awesome friend, avoiding the Soulard drunken madness and ignoring the impeding snow storm? A little bit of shopping (finally getting that birthday present) and a little bit of people watching....great Saturday afternoon! I'm grateful for the cute local shops that are so much more fun than the mall. Cobblestone streets, vintage signs, covered wagons...there is tons of old world charm on this street.
