I love my apartment for many reasons...but one of the top reasons is its old charm.  Laundry is one of my least favorite chores but I am truly grateful to have an apartment with a large basement for storage and hook ups for my washer and dryer.  It was an odd transition, going from a four bedroom house in the suburbs to an 800 square foot apartment in the city, but I wouldn't do things any differently.
